Legendary Blues

Last night in memphis i played with the band
a wonderful woman in front of the stage
she danced there and sometimes she looked to me wild
and after an hour of playing she cried

the evening was over i walked to my car
the woman sat inside i liked her that far
i drove down the road and stopped by the trees
as i wanted to kiss her she said to me : please

SOLO

early next morning i didn’t know where
i woke up in a bedroom the woman was there
she told me she never had such a night
she kissed me and whispered again with delight
